Nacho Libre
Ah critics. The only thing they’re good for is making me enjoy movies more.
…it’s no School of Rock (um, thank you Mr. Critic, any moron can see that)
…it’s no Napoleon Dynamite (do we need another?)
…it’s a one-joke movie (I suppose if you only have a one-joke sense of humor)
…it thinks flatulence is the epitome of comedy (and so, your describing the film as “nacho good and nacho funny” is like, what …the epitome of intellectual thought?)
Admittedly, the movie isn’t uproariously funny. In fact, the funniest line in the whole movie ("We must learn hee’s hhways..") was only funny to us because it’s an offshoot of an inside running joke from the Coachella. But the movie was candy for the eyes because the costumes, sets and scenery were cool, the cast was great (even if Ana de la Reguera 's only acting is looking alternately quietly endearing and bewildered) and the music was FANTASTIC. No kidding. Listen to it. See? Trust me on these things.

I personally thought the funniest line was, "Get that corn out of my face!"
