JR and DJ
Junior's leaving DEI! YEEEESSSS! F*ck Teresa. There's no question that the Earnhardt bloodlines should have control of DEI. Rumor has it she offered to sell her controlling shares of DEI for $50-75 million, which just makes her come off as the money-grubbing b*tch she is.
Good for Junior to stick to his guns, get out and carve out his own path to glory. I have a feeling Junior will be back around down the line anyway, hopefully after that old cow kicks off. Junior, I would drink a Bud in your honor today, but that stuff tastes like s*hit. It's the thought that counts though, right?
And props to Jarrett for taking the high road, the big picture and extreme classiness and wrap it up in one package. Everyone knows DJ is frustrated, he wants to win or at least be in the chase, but also has the integrity to stand behind his decisions. A lot of drivers would have shown signs of cracking by now having put on a confident face, but letting a "this blows" slip out during an interview. The sponsor pressure at MWR must be crushing.
