I feel the need...the need for speed!!

(Ooops...I'm not supposed to remember that! I don't own Top Gun. In fact, I saw this in the theater when it came out. old old old...)

I got the notice that UPS wants to deliver my cable internet modem to me tomorrow! YEEESSS! I'm probably the LAST human on the planet with dial-up.

Dial-up was still quasi-functional a couple years ago, but now it's damn near impossible to go anywhere or do anythng on the web without hi-speed access.

To rub it in even more, I subscribe to Wired, which makes me feel old, un-hip and waaaaay behind the times. I used to be a closet geek, now I'm just a poseur.
