Today a coworker of mine showed up in a very nice looking, richly-colored Easter purple polo shirt. Now, I’m not fond of pastel colors (or any color besides black according to those in-the-know), but he looked really really good in this shirt.

I wandered over and commented how much I liked his shirt, interrupting a conversation between him and another coworker, who coincidentally was also complimenting him on his shirt. He replied that he liked it too and that it was a present from this mother. I said his shirt looked very spring-like, that I felt happier just by having looked at him.

He exclaimed, “I got your SPRING right here!!!” using both hands to point exactly where you’re supposed to be pointing when you say “right here”.

This was uproariously funny, but maybe you had to be there.

And btw, he always looks impeccable even in just a pair of khakis and a polo shirt. I theorize it’s because he’s from New York and they all can do that.
