Going from "Meh.." to "Hey!!"

Chris Tucker is one of those comedian actors that haven't reached my threshold of caring about his upcoming movie releases. He lumps right there in with the likes of Tim Allen.

So imagine my surprise when I ran across this little gem in an article about the tribulations over releasing the buddy cop movie, Rush Hour 3:

"Chan said he's going ahead with another project -- one with famed Chinese director Zhang Yimou. Zhang's recent films include "House of Flying Daggers" and "Hero."

Wooo! Way to move on! Get past making these mediocre comedies not worthy of your talent and move on to something genuinely inspirational. Now that my movie-geek sweetie has turned me on to the wonders of Zhang Yimou movies, I'd pay money to see whatever resulting movie ended up at the theaters. Plus I earn more "cool girlfriend" points that I can trade in later, for like say, a relaxing shoulder rub.
