Coachella 2006 Lineup Announced

A few weeks back I told my sister-n-law that I wasn't really interested in Coachella this year.

I lied.

In my defense, I based my original opinion on the rumor that the Smashing Pumpkins were going to be one of the headliners. I cannot convey how much I dislike Smashing Pumpkins. Billy Corgan makes me feel icky.

NME released the full lineup today. I was disappointed to not see Sufjan Stevens on the list. That's kind of a mixed blessing - knowing full well that I would be crushed to death by all his fans, I would still have to see him.

Must See Bands: Tool, Depeche Mode, Sigur Ros, The Go! Team, Editors, Scissor Sisters, Franz Ferdinand, Ladytron, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! and Sleater Kinney.

Bands I Would Want to See if I Could Clone Myself: Imogen Heap, Mogwai, TV On The Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bloc Party, My Morning Jacket, She Wants Revenge and The Walkmen.

I'm not entirely convinced to go, but I am entertaining the notion.
