Wednesday Morning Recap

Why Wednesday morning you ask?

1) My work OWNS me right now
2) There are 67,000 things on my to-do list; and
3) I'm lazy (not something I care to admit, but there's always a number three)

After some shady calls by the refs during the first half of the Patriots/Broncos game, I was convinced they were getting a little payola on the side. After the Steelers/Colts game, I'm sure of it.

Regardless of the refs, both Brady and Manning played like poo, so the Patriots and the Colts are out. Sigh. Panthers won (thank god), so at least I have them to root for.

I've nothing against the Steelers, personally. But it's the favorite team of a certain unnamed but nefarious individual who, if he saw a certain other someone fall into a ditch while running, would be the one pointing and laughing almost to the point of crying instead of say, helping that person or something. So you can see my predicament in rooting for THAT team. But if the Panthers don't make it and the Steelers do, I don't really have any option. I feel bitter.

So I defy you football gods!!! I DARE you to smite me!!

(Btw…is it only me that sees Super Bowl XL and thinks "extra large" Super Bowl?)

In other news, the Raiders ex-coach, Norv Turner just got picked up as offensive coordinator for the 49ers, so now he can continue being a loser without having to relocate away from the Bay Area.

If my flight to San Diego's not delayed (jinx jinx jinx), I'll be at the hotel in time for Saturday's game. I'm going to enjoy me a weekend of football and nice weather (jinx jinx jinx)!!!

I'm also taking a stab at mastering my new digital camera (thanks mom and dad!!) while I'm down there. It's a great camera, but it's got so many options!! They gave me a 1GB memory card too, so I can cram a bunch of stuff on it when I'm on a trip and conveniently download everything when I get back. Woo!
