Nike+iPod
Typical product formula from Apple and Nike.
Produce sexy products. Crazy sexy, even. But not necessarily useful ones.
Knowing Nike, I'm pretty sure you HAVE to wear the Nikes for their pedometer feature to work, which will wreck your legs faster than you can say "long run".
And knowing iPods, you won’t even get done with your long run before their 64-second life span forces you to have some Genius touch it (where it magically springs back to life in mere seconds, despite your having spent 5 agonizing hours on their support site) or replace it (after they’ve suspiciously inspected it for evidence of being dropped in the toilet and quizzically searched your face for signs of guilt).
That being said, I still love Baby Mac. He’s completely useful.
And I’ll still be going to new 24/7 Apple store on Fifth Avenue when I’m in NYC next week. It’s conveniently located next to Central Park, so there’s a Genius nearby in case Sexxxy Party needs some TLC after my run. Or at the very least, some cute accessories.

Quick hello for a runner wannabe. Actually, trying to return to running after a 20 year hiatus. :)
Well then, a quick hello back!
20 years is quite a while, I'd imagine it'd be like starting all over again (and as I'm sure you know, it's pretty hard to adjust the first time around. I thought I was going to have shin-splints forever!!)
