Monday morning recap - part II

Tired from our Saturday walking/eating adventure, we opted out of doing First Date: The Sequel that same night, pushing it back to Sunday instead (which as it turns out didn't make a bit of difference).

It did however totally free up our Saturday night to catch hot English boys playing football (or soccer if you, like myself, live in the only country in the world that calls it that).

We donned our England paraphenailia (I love when I get to play English) and head to PGE Park.

Now, I've heard Timbers fans were loud and rowdy, but now I have visual and audible confimation that all the rumors are true. Section 107 is the "craaaazy fan" section, where they dress up, chant and generally make a lot of noise. I should have got a picture of them, but I didn't. I was too busy checking out young, hot English football players.

Coventry City is in the blue uniforms.



The two teams were tied 1-1 at the end of regulation, but unfortunately we (meaning the English) lost during the penalty kicks (this being a friendly, they skipped the overtime and went straight to penalty kicks).



With such a big turnout for the game, it was good for the Timbers and their fans.
