Protest!

KISS fans are craaazy. I can say that because I am one.

We paint our faces. Pay exorbitant amounts of money for various pieces of memorabilia, concert tickets and conventions. And as the twilight is setting on their decades old career, we travel all the way to Cleveland to protest that the world has done the disservice of not recognizing the "hottest band in the world" because they have (gasp!) NOT been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Apparently, they'd rather induct a band that doesn't give a monkey's a** about being inducted. Seriously, what is wrong with this world?!?

Just kidding. Well, sorta. But they've always been overlooked, put down or flat out laughed at by all but their die hard fans - you know, the ones like myself that didn't totally forsake them in the 80's.

Besides, it's never been about recognition, it's about putting on the best show for the fans (well, and the money), so until they get in (and they will eventually), they'll just have to console themselves by bathing in their cash.

Besides, it's really all about the chest hair.
