Iron Man

Quick post about the movie Iron Man that Rob conned me into seeing last night.

Although I had to suspend disbelief on more than one occasion, the movie didn't suck.

I keep getting reminded how much I'm smitten with Robert Downey, Jr. when he plays the one type of role he was meant to play - an arrogent prick. And I think he's slowly turning into our generation's Al Pacino.

Gwyneth Paltrow might have done a passable job playing the ridiculously named Pepper Potts (side note: comic book artists should not be allowed to name their own characters), but I was too busy looking at her legs to care.

My favorite line (of course) - Give me a Scotch. I'm starving.
