My brother has this habit of taking random things and substituting them as lyrics for a song. This is hilarious. It might not seem so, but on a road trip, when you're slappy with the mixture heatstroke, dehydration, weariness and stink, it is. Trust.

Some examples:

(to Coldplay's "Yellow")
We had a dog
We had to shoot him dead
We shot him in the head
His name was Old Yeller.

(also to Coldplay's "Yellow")
During the day
I use the Coppertone
The sun leaves me alone
So I can stay pasty

(to Lynard Skynard's " Freebird")
We've been stuck behind this boat, now,
Doin' a solid fifty-five.
If you got in the left lane,
It would be a faster drive.

Song of the Day: Sweet Home Alabama by Lynard Skynard, which is probably my favorite song of theirs, followed by Saturday Night Special. Good southern rock sing-along action.
