The story of Mr. Lemons

Upon our arrival to LA area, we noticed a truck going down the road with a rather large load of lemons. Wouldn't that be funny, we mused, if the lemon truck was going to the Coachella festival? The truck would pull up and there would be fresh squeezed lemonade for all.

The funny thing was, for much of our drive from the LA to the Palm Springs area, this lemon truck would inexplicably pop up. We first saw the lemon truck on the freeway going past Magic Mountain in Valencia. (Wheeler Ridge?)

We stopped at the Ralph's in Glendale for food and ice, and after we left, we spotted the lemon truck. Hmmm. We spent a solid chunk of time just trying to find a grocery store without getting lost. Then we spent a LOT of time in that grocery store, in fact, we ended up going back in again to get another bag of ice, so it's weird that we would run into him again. We pass him.

A little later on, we stopped by an In-N-Out Burger (see related post) on Azure Street to grab some food (see related post about their bathrooms), and who do we come up upon in stop-and-go traffic but the lemon truck. Yay! Lemons!

We stopped by the mall for pillows and dice (see related post), and once we were back on the highway, who should we spot off in the distance? "Mr. Lemons!" now so dubbed by my bother. And by this time, I had to pull out the camera and snap a picture of this truck because this was just too funny.
