Oooch. I feel for the Packers and the Saints. I was on the fence about the likelihood Favre playing next season, but with Mike Sherman gone, I think he'll decide or be persuaded to retire. I'd be happy if I were wrong on that, I like Favre. So do the fans. But they'd be smarter to bump up Nall to starter and start getting him seasoned.

And the only thing that Wilf needs to defend about firing (Viking's coach) Mike Tice is what took them so long. The Vikings need to get some cred back, quick.
