New York gets screwed by Nike

In a crazy turn of events, NY was just dropped as a location for the popular “Run Hit” series of races. NY had a date scheduled in July and everything. Now it’s being run in Miami. What gives? I’ve got a crazy suspicion that Portland might be the next location to get the boot…

(update: I posted this entry as I origianlly wrote it, despite the comment in a previous post that both NY and Portland got dropped from the list. I really hope the comment about Portland being dropped isn't true, but I haven't sent inquiries to Nike asking to confirm the rumor. It's such a great event. Popular too - I've gotten quite a run of traffic from people looking for info on this event.)
