So the local alternative radio station (the only one we have) sends out this teaser email last Friday...

It's time for our annual concert to benefit Dove Lewis and The Oregon Humane Society. Listen Monday morning (6.18) around 8:30am, Greg will announce all the details. I'm not kidding when I say this is one of the BIGGEST shows we have ever done! You'll find out Monday who the headliner will be for Pet Aid 2007!!

In case you missed the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT this morning, YES... IT'S TRUE! The Smashing Pumpkins will headline 94/7's Pet Aid 2007 presented by Bud Light taking place on Friday, September 21st at The Clark County Amphitheater. To sweeten the deal, Billy Corgan will be bringing his Lollapalooza pal, Perry Farrell, along with his band Satellite Party to open the show.


Um, that's it? You booked the world's sh*ttiest band for your benefit concert? Because hey, it's not like they're not available. Billy Corgan can even get laid, let alone book real tour dates and charge money them.
