My sweetie and I and all the chitlins went to Gogo’s for dinner, and I must say they did not disappoint. We got there early, when it wouldn’t be crowded. Food was super-duper fresh like last time and the price was très raisonnable ($42 for a family of five – pretty good deal in my book). The wait staff was very pleasant, but still inattentive -- they never noticed when you need refills and you always had to flag a person down from across the restaurant.

I should go to Citysearch and write them up a nice review, but dang it, I don’t want them to get really popular and crowded. Then they’ll start jacking up the price and the food quality will plummet, and their already inattentive service will become slow and surly. I want them to be a quaint little gem where I can take my just my sweetie or my whole family and have a delicious time.

Song of the Day: Just a Ride - Jem. My third favorite song off her release Finally Woken, a whimsical sing-along, of which her lyrics remind me to "enjoy the ride". Good advice.

Update: Gogo’s doesn’t have a listing on Citysearch (awwwww. That’s too bad.)
