Sunday – 10:15pm

We left right after the NIN set ended. This wasn't my decision; I wanted to stay and see Bright Eyes, but it was the demand made by my sister in-law for their forethought to stand in line for the Dresden Dolls signing.

My brother wanted to me to note that the last thing we saw before we got in the car was a horse taking a crap. The festival is held at Empire Polo Field, so it wasn't surprising to see a horse in an open stall along the edge of the parking lot doing his business. It is kinda funny that this was our parting shot.

Leaving early worked out well. There was ZERO traffic getting out, we sped along back towards the highway (I on the first driving shift again) and were barreling back towards Palm Springs in no time.
