Backposting Blues...
Seriously, could things be any busier right now? My list of things to do in my little planner runs multiple pages. I get the "must-do-now" stuff out of the way, but some of the bigger projects are lagging. Most of them fall under the generic label "simplification" - which basically means I'm trying to get rid of "stuff". I have too much of it and if I don't sell it or throw it away, I'm eventually going to have to move it.
In more fun news, mum and dad are coming down this weekend, and are arriving a day earlier than normal so they can attend my youngest daughter's band concert fundraiser tomorrow night. Afterwards we'll do our traditional musician's post-performance meal at Denny's. I have eaten more Denny's in the past two years than I have in my entire life, and now that I have one more artist in the family, the frequency isn't going to decline anytime soon.
The Bridge-2-Bridge is this weekend. It's got some significant uphill and downhill, which is where I get in the most trouble, so I'm taking care not to overdo it on either. I felt great after the Shamrock, so I'll slow my 5K per mile pace by 15-30 seconds and walk wp a couple of steep segments that come up during the approach to the Fremont Bridge. I should be fine then. Jinx jinx jinx.
