Tony's climbing the fence!
FINALLY! Tony picked up his first win this year with a solid performance at Martinsville after string of mediocre finishes. He held off Jeff “Master of Martinsville” Gordon and Jimmie Johnson, who had a strong car until the last thirty laps or so, to second and third place finishes. Even Team B.K Harvickers both finished in the top-10, although Biffle and Edwards (hotties #2 and 3) didn't have good runs and finished middle of the pack. As a bonus, Robby Gordon went out in the first few laps...
The expected drama of flared tempers never materialized, although with Tony antagonizing Jimmie Johnson on the track, that rivalry won't fade any time soon. Sans the drama, Fox Sports will have to come up with some entertaining NASCAR-related news until the next race. So far, they’re not doing so hot. Even after the buyout, does anyone seriously expect Sprint to stop sponsoring a sport that a gajillion of their newly aquired blue-collar, chirping Nextel phone-using customers watch?
