Trick...or treat?

The trick...driving to Seattle and back for a show on a weeknight and still be a functioning drone at work the next day. It gets harder as the years go by...

The treat? It's not just any show. It's K-mothereffing-MFDM. Gawd they're grand...their music really hits the spot when the mood stikes. Saw them in Vegas in 2003 and it was amazing. And I unintentionally got to be a stalker fan when I ran into Sascha and his girlfriend (H-O-T) in the casino shortly after the show. Much undying adulation endued, and they were both very cool and very nice.

I haven't picked up tickets yet as they still have two as-yet-unscheduled, but to be announced tour dates between their shows in SF and Seattle. I'd rather see them in Portland and save my energy for the show then fritter it away driving for seven hours, but you know...I'll do whatever I have to do.
