I need to get back on a routine. I work better with a schedule – a time for this, a time for that – to help keep me focused. If I get distracted with a bunch of other stuff (like say, a three-hour nap), I’m totally thrown off my game. The things I wanted to accomplish that day will just have to wait. I mean it has to. I can’t possibly expect myself to do that much. I need downtime. Me time.
When I’m on a routine, not only does everything get done, it gets done efficiently. The feeling this inspires is about as close as I will ever come to nirvana.
Obviously, in reality this is far from perfect. I don't adapt well to change, and this of course is just another way in which I am broken. The list is quite long, I should post it sometime.
Anyway, I’m going to set up my routine and see how flexible I can be with it and still get at least some things accomplished. Stay tuned to listen to me transform into a whiny b*tch while I’m struggling with it. Now, back to my nap.
