Is it broken of me to be seriously considering purchasing these?

…and my thrifty side tells me that I have to order two boxes, because hey, first time customers get that second box for only 95 cents. Such a deal! I hardly ever use checks, but if I got these, I'd search out opportunities to pay by check. And if someone got a Peter Criss check, it would be because I ran out of the others. Not even Peter Criss wants a Peter Criss check (joke courtesy of Family Guy episode, Road to Europe - which is the best episode EVAR!) The Paul Stanley ones would be meted out only to very important people. Up with chest hair!
